What we do

We have been established since 2002 supporting small villages in eastern Uganda. Our aim is to help improve the quality of life of both adults and children. Working as a humanitarian, community based organisation, we have delivered a number of sustainable community projects including the building of a school hostel for girls and a large community centre, supporting over 20 women's groups and more than 50 students educated along with livelihood projects for young people.

This lent your congregation can help vastly improve the lives of some of our most vulnerable villagers in the remote eastern part of Uganda. At this time of year, many Christians are considering what to give up for Lent. But imagine having to give up eating for a day because you have no food. This is the reality for many of the families we try to support in Muyembe who don’t have bowls to eat out of, pans to cook their food in or blankets to keep them warm on the cold nights. By giving something up this Lent, your congregation can help make a difference to the lives of some of these families. If you would like to know what 50p to £2.50 can buy click here.

It is widely known the benefit of higher education accrues to individual students and their families. Average earnings increase measurably with higher levels of education. Over their working lives, typical college graduates earn about 73 percent more than typical high school graduates. More educated people are less likely to be unemployed and less likely to live in poverty. Contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
